Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen, the president of The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC),
Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

On the behalf of 1.8 billion Muslims, I am writing this letter to draw your attention to the current growing Islamophobia that is encouraging extremism and violence across the world. OIC is the the collective voice of the Muslim world and is to protect the interests of the Muslims.
Our faith is not complete until we love the Holy Prophet (P. B. U. H) more than our lives, our wealth, our children and everything else.
Today we can see various agencies are working against Islam and Muslims that is triggering factor for worldwide abhorrence and conflict. In some states, Muslims are being denied their citizenship rights and their democratic personal choices from dress to worship.
Now In France, Islam has been associated with terrorism. Moreover, publication of blasphemous cartoons targeting Islam and our Holy Prophet (PBUH) has been allowed.

This is the time OIC should take action for the integrity of Islam. Every member state of OIC should end commercial, economic, political and diplomatic relations with France. When Muslims of 57 member states boycott the French products, it will cause a huge loss to France of more than $100 billion. Moreover, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia and U. A. E should not export their products including oil to France.
OIC should hit France where it hurts; Economy.
I hope that OIC must take the immediate action as We have to show our face to Allah and His Messenger on the Day of Resurrection. We have to work in this world that we should not be ashamed of on that day.
