A Global Movement for the Protection of Humanity

The International Human Rights Movement (IHRM) is a non-political, non-profit, and non-charitable organization dedicated to the protection and promotion of human rights across the globe. It serves as a unified platform for humanity, transcending all barriers of race, religion, or ethnicity, and upholds the principles of justice, equality, and human dignity.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a society where every individual is guaranteed fundamental rights, freedom, and respect. The IHRM stands as a powerful voice against oppression, injustice, and discrimination, offering hope to the oppressed and protection to the vulnerable.

Establishment and Historical Background

The movement was established on March 15, 2003, in Bristol, United Kingdom, under the visionary leadership of Rana Basharat Ali Khan, a distinguished advocate of human rights. Initially, the movement focused on raising awareness about the plight of Palestinians, but it quickly expanded its scope to address global human rights issues. By 2007, the IHRM was officially registered as a human rights organization in Europe, and by 2013, it had gained a strong foothold in over 60 countries, including Pakistan.

Services and Achievements

The IHRM has made its mark on global platforms such as the United Nations, European Union, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the Arab League, highlighting critical human rights issues.

It has consistently raised its voice against violations in Palestine, Kashmir, Myanmar, Yemen, Afghanistan, and other regions.

The organization spearheaded some of the largest protests in British history, with 30,000 to 70,000 participants rallying for Palestine’s cause.

In 2017, the IHRM organized large-scale demonstrations against atrocities committed in Myanmar against Rohingya Muslims.

Wherever human rights violations occur, the IHRM’s dedicated volunteers step forward with unwavering commitment, working selflessly without any financial support to serve humanity.

Our Principles

The IHRM’s guiding principle is to work beyond race, religion, caste, and political affiliation, focusing solely on humanity. We neither accept funding from governments nor depend on any external financial assistance. Our movement is purely volunteer-driven, with the sole purpose of serving humanity and safeguarding human rights.

Our Team

Today, the IHRM operates in 60 countries and is supported by a network of over 100,000 volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts to this noble cause. Beyond identifying issues, the IHRM actively works to provide solutions, striving to make the world a better and safer place.
